 You will be responsible for the support of a series of Microsoft Access and SQL Server databases to U.S. and Global Firms’ clients and other entities requiring independence as well as global securities data. This role includes the routine creation and modification of databases as well as supporting the Business with data quality research and analysis.

Responsiblities may include: 

• Assisting with MS Access database maintenance and new development. 
• Assisting with SQL Server database maintenance and new development in SSIS. 
• Assisting with package development and troubleshooting in SSDT. 
• Assist with maintenance of existing reports and work with team members to develop new reports using MS Access and Excel VBA. 
• Comprehending existing code in order to troubleshoot and adjust code when necessary. 
• Working with business users to develop Ad Hoc queries using SQL/TSQL to meet their objectives. 
• Assisting with mailbox support tickets and communicate with end users. 
• Communicating and interacting with teams members to determine requirements. 
• Creating intuitive, internally consistent user interfaces that meet the team standards. 
• Documenting new requirements and processes, and maintain existing process documents. 

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in a math, engineering, computer science, or business field.

Experience:

• Two (2) years experience installing, troubleshooting, and monitoring Oracle Database 11g or higher which must include all the following:
• Capacity/back-up recovery planning
• Performance tuning
• Database maintenance

·      Establish physical database parameters

·      Utilize structure query language to define database objects using data control languages

·      Perform maintenance, enhancement, and design of data dictionaries;

·      Evaluate users requests for new data elements and systems
